​Before I created Bailemor I was a graphic designer who specialized in commercial art.

Then one day after I had my first child I went to pick her up at the daycare center and noticed she was extremely ill. She had a very high temperature and my husband and I needed to rush her to the emergency room. The doctors thought that she might have meningitis but luckily that wasn’t the case and after a few days she was well enough to go home.

After that terrible experience I knew that I didn’t want to work outside the home. I became a freelance graphic artist and was able to work from home and raise two beautiful children.

When my daughter got married she had a very DIY wedding. She lovingly included all of her friends and family in the event by incorporating our individual talents. I was honored to help out with the invitations, wedding favors, and ceremony programs along with other supporting print materials.

After the wedding my friends and family encouraged me to sell my design and printing services online. I was a little hesitant because I didn’t just want to create wedding programs. I knew I would love working with brides-to-be to help create their special day but I wanted to design something that would represent their marriage and become a lasting family treasure.

That’s when I came up with the idea for my personalized family name sign prints. The family name signs are perfect for first anniversary gifts (paper anniversary) because they are printed on linen paper card stock, or canvas paper.

But since they include the family name, location and establish date they also make great wedding and housewarming gifts too.

Opening an online shop has been one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever had. Personalizing prints for families across the US one family at a time could only happen over the internet and I am so happy to be able to share a small part in those family’s lives.
